Tŷ Pawb is a cultural community resource, bringing together arts and markets within the same footprint. This coexistence will celebrate the significance of markets within Wrexham’s cultural heritage and identity.
OWPM is Wrexham’s major new development putting visual arts at the heart of a lively and innovative cultural space that will incorporate new galleries, studios for artists, creative industries and learning, a curated cinema programme, café/bar, flexible performance space, art shop, locally designed gifts and a selection of market stalls selling everything from jewellery to wool.
OWPM/the Oriel will be opening in April 2018, before then we will be keeping you up to date with what’s happening on the construction, where you can find the market traders who have relocated during the building work, what activities and exhibitions are taking place in OW Arts and how you can get involved.
We are looking forward to seeing you in this new and vibrant community space. Welcome to OWPM/the Oriel.
The project is supported by Welsh Government funding through the Vibrant and Viable Places programme, The Arts Council of Wales, and Wrexham County Borough Council. The new venue has been designed by Featherstone Young Architects and is being developed by Wynne Construction. Click here for more information about the partners.
